Neocolor Crayons are so much fun

I have recently completed two lessons from Let's Face It 2016 both using Neocolor Crayons. I have owned these crayons for some time now and really wasn't that fond of them.........but since taking lessons from Kylie Fowler and Angela Kennedy I now have a new respect for them and am sure they will be appearing in my work from now on.

Last year I purchased an adult colour book from Jamie Doughtery which I adore. My journal pages is inspired by her design White Bride.

I created it with acrylic paint, prisma pencils, tulip tissue, rub-ons and a sprinkling of glitter.

Day of the Dead Journal Page

I created this two page spread in my journal last year after being inspired by Megan King Suarez using acrylic paint and prisma coloured pencils.

Day of the Dead
"An annual celebration to honor the spirits of the dead, observed in Mexico and other Latin American countries on November 1 and 2, concurrently with All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day."

Telegraph Road Journal Page

It was a beautiful rainy day here in Hervey Bay. There is nothing more that I enjoy than to take a coffee to my studio and sip my coffee while creating with some great supplies that I picked up from Kreative Koncepts.

Keep up todate with what I am creating at Come join me on facebook

Ellie's Bear

Last October I participated in a workshop run by Denise Daffara with a group of wonderful ladies. As normal I was having too much fun to complete my canvas but am happy to say I have finally finished her. I have composed a little flip through of how my painting came to be.

You can read about the workshop here on Denise's blog We all had the most amazing weekend.

I have also started a Facebook page "Anne Cahill - Must Love Paint". I would love for you to come and join me.
